This year the section received 9 applications each for the college and high school scholarship competitions. The portfolios of the applicants in both categories were very impressive. With the help of Arthur Yeh, Herb McGrath and John Sinn, the committee decided to award the following individuals:
Ms. Ling Deng (ASOR, BGSU) for the George H. Barrows Master Scholarship;
Mr. Joseph M. Castiglione (Quality System Technology, Monroe Community College) for the George MacRitchie Memorial Scholarship;
Ms. Gaojie Lin (MIT, BGSU) for the Dan Christian Memorial Scholarship;
Mr. Aaron Burrow (Fostoria High School) for the High School Scholarship in Quality Competition
